Pre-Assembled Kitchen Cabinets
Fully built cabinets that go straight from the pallet to the wall. Same all-plywood boxes, soft-close doors and dovetail drawers as our ready-to-assemble lines — assembled, inspected and shipped by Northline Cabinetry across New Jersey and New York.
Why buy assembled
- Arrives built — hang it the day it lands
- All-plywood boxes with dovetail drawer construction
- Soft-close doors and drawers already adjusted
- No assembly labor on your installer's invoice
- Free freight on orders over $2,500
Delivery and freight
Assembled cabinets travel on a pallet by LTL freight, which is why they carry a different shipping rate than flat packs. Orders over $2,500 ship free; smaller orders show a flat freight charge at checkout. Forevermark collections can also be picked up free at our Edison, NJ location, or delivered locally for a flat fee. Full detail lives on the shipping page.
Assembled vs RTA
The cabinets are the same; the difference is who builds the box. If your time or your installer's hourly rate is the constraint, assembled usually costs less overall. If you have a weekend and a mallet, ready-to-assemble is the cheaper path.
Frequently asked questions
- What does pre-assembled mean?
- The cabinet arrives fully built — box glued and fastened, drawers installed, doors hung and adjusted. You set it on the wall, level it and screw it to the studs.
- How long does delivery take?
- Assembled cabinets ship by freight and typically arrive in one to three weeks depending on the collection and your address. We confirm the window before the order goes out.
- Is there a freight charge?
- Assembled orders ship on a pallet by LTL freight. Orders over $2,500 ship free; below that a flat freight rate applies at checkout. Forevermark orders can be picked up free in Edison, NJ.
- Should I choose assembled or RTA?
- Choose assembled if you are paying an installer by the hour, working on a tight schedule, or simply do not want to build boxes. Choose RTA if you have a weekend and want the lower price.
- Can I inspect the cabinets on delivery?
- Yes, and you should. Check the pallet for freight damage before signing, and note anything questionable on the delivery receipt so a claim is straightforward.
